The practice of psychotherapy and counselling has convinced me about the human potential to withstand and
recover some of the most debilitating situations of life. Deeper understanding of suffering and pain and the ways to
deal with them has inspired my interest in compassion research. The fascinating promises of brain studies and its
therapeutic application in restoring functional abilities of mind and body intrigue me.
My approach to psychotherapy is to facilitate the much-needed relational healing space through connectedness and
compassion coupled with a very committed journey to find possible remedies of pain and trauma. This is made
possible through a unique personalized treatment protocol inspired by cognitive, psychodynamic, behavioural,
somatic, relational and spiritual approaches. I make use of the approaches from Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Techniques, Hypnotherapy,
Neuro Linguistic Programing, various trauma and PTSD treatment methods, attachment and relational approaches in
treatment.
I am confident in working with complex trauma and grief including PTSD, different forms of depression and anxiety,
relational issues including couple and family therapy, self image and attachment issues, chronic pain and somatic
complaints, and personal discovery and individuation. I am professionally trained in EMDR (Eye Movement
Desensitizing and Reprocessing) and TIR (Traumatic Incident Reduction).
The uniqueness of my approach is the therapeutic use of deep-felt sense of compassion, a child like curiosity to find
answers, the courage of conviction in the possibilities of healing and health and an ability to use both conscious and
subconscious processes to that end in a collaborative respectful relational-spiritual space.
The practice of psychotherapy and counselling has convinced me about the human potential to withs...
